2021.09.20 03:57 HandlesackJohnson My experience regarding safety
Months ago, I engaged in a few binges (not a binge by the standards of this subreddit I suppose, maybe at most 20 cartridges each time...) of nitrous oxide over a relatively short period of time. Following these events, I became paranoid that I may have caused some damage to my brain. I remember that my mucus would turn a deep green after the sessions and I would feel very lightheaded (the latter was probably made worse by me rebreathing, and thus filling up on carbon dioxide). Moreover, I would experience very strong headaches after and a weird clogged sensation in my ears. Well, as it inevitably turns out, as soon as my anxiety about the event lessened, so did the headaches and ear pain. In fact, one of the reasons I used the drug was to ease some serious underlying anxieties I had in the first place. I have returned mostly back to normal, and am here to report my experience that this drug, unless seriously abused, is harmless. Just relax, and don't 'placebo' yourselves into impairment.

2021.09.20 03:57 CS181920 Help Finding 4x great grandparents
Hello. This is my very first time ever making a post on reddit but I need the help of other people to help me figure out who my great grandfather’s great grandparents were. This is going to be very lengthy and I apologize. Anyway, My great grandfather’s mother was born in Carbon County, PA. Her name was Erma Ferrett. Ferretti also being another variant of her surname. My great grandfather’s dad was born in Abruzzo, Italy and his name is Thomas DiGiacomo. Thomas came to the US around 1922 according to records. I know who Erma and Thomas’s parents are but I’m extremely stumped on who Erma and Thomas’s grandparents and ancestors are. Erma’s father is named Alexander Frank Ferrett. He was born in Abruzzo, Italy as well and his wife, Adonica DiGennaro (Erma’s mother) was born in Abruzzo. They both died in PA. Thomas’s father’s name was Sabatino DiGiacomo and his mother was named Clara Marconi. Both of them were born in Atri and died there. There are a few problems I have come across trying to find the parents of Sabatino, Clara, Alexander and Adonica. The first one being that Adonica has many variations of her name. On some records, Adonica appears as Demonica. I made a list of every possible name variant I could think of for Adonica and searched Ancestry and FamilySearch with those variants. I even used different variations of her maiden surname. There were no results. The strange thing is that I cannot find any records of just hers. I can find her on her children’s records but she doesn’t have any of her own with a list of her parents or any of her personal info on it. On Erma and Thomas’s census record, I was able to find a cousin in their household and his name was Dominick Yacovone. Dominick is the cousin of either Erma or Thomas but I’m assuming that it’s most likely Thomas’s cousin because Yacovone is another weird variant for DiGiacomo (Which is Thomas’s surname). I was able to find Dominick’s parents. His father’s name is Joseph Yacovone and his mother is Angela Blasio. I tried looking for any record of Joseph and his parents but yet again, It was unsuccessful. This has caused me so much stress and I would really appreciate if anyone could help me find my 4x great grandparents or provide any tips that were helpful for you in breaking down brick walls you might have come across. Thanks!
Here are the birth, death dates and locations of Sabatino, Clara, Alexander and Adonica in case anyone was curious:
Sabatino: b. 1887 in Abruzzo, Italy d. Abruzzo, Italy
Clara: b. 1885 in Atri, Teramo, Abruzzo, Italy d. Italy
Alexander: b. April 12, 1877 in Italy (Maybe Abruzzo, not sure) d. 1922 in Carbon County, PA
Adonica: b. 1882 in Abruzzo, Italy d. 1922 in Carbon County, PA

After playing the Ilum story line, something seems off. Malgus was introduced right in the beginning of the ilum plotline, and then you kill him at the end of it? As built up as he was in the ads and stuff it was pretty disappointing to meet him and kill him almost immediately. Did i do something wrong? Is that really all we see from him?

I made a female character cause I like the faces you can have with them but didn't end up liking the way their bodies looked with coats. Anyone have a male character with more of an androgynous/genderless look?

2021.09.20 03:57 Feeling-Meaning Two bachelor degrees, one office job, and a change of heart. Go back to school or just get hands on experience/certification?
After earning a couple degrees in forensic investigations and psychology, starting a boring office job, and moving onto my girlfriend's farm, I have had a change of heart and want to get into landscaping/lawn care/gardening. Her dad has a really successful hardscaping business, wants me to join the team, and I've been toying with the idea about adding lawn-care and gardening division to his business. Make it a all in one landscaping type deal. I'm not really wanting to be a scientist or run tests or make new species of plants or anything. I just want to get to the point where I can make a killer garden for people, scape some killer lawns, and have a lot of knowledge about what all the plants are, what all they need, fertilizers, pesticides, pruning. Just really solid gardening and plant knowledge.
Since I'm not really planning on working for a nursery or doing research or any of that stuff, and was planning on going more of the landscaping route, I was curious what y'all thought the best route would be for me to accrue the proper knowledge to be able to lead something like that. I'm open to getting an associate's degree if that's the best option, though I'd rather not if I don't need to. I'm open to certifications if that is the proper level I would need, and I'm also open to just plain ol getting my hands dirty and gaining experience. Or skipping all of the college stuff and just gaining knowledge from experience and reading a load of books. When it comes to the type of horticulture I would run into doing landscaping and gardening for people, which one of these would probably fit my needs and requirements for the job the best? TIA!
TLDR; I've seen a lot of conflicting info online about which path is best for someone wanting to do landscaping/gardening. If I'm wanting to add on lawn-care, and gardening to a family landscaping business. And want to be very good at it. What's the best route to take? College? Just plain old get experience? Experience plus reading a load of horticulture and gardening books? I'd prefer to not have to go back to college for a bachelor's or associates, but if it makes a load of a difference I would be open to it

He/They. Pansexual and most likely gender fluid.
I'm looking for friends in the community. Talk about culture. Help, tips etc.
I'm not confident in being myself.
Confident me wouldn't be worried about painting my nails, wearing eyeliner and sashaying like a lazy cat.
But it feels like the moment you open yourself up to looking for friendship. People expect "more."
I'm happy married. I just would like some friends I can relate to 🤷.
